I also cut 80/20 quilt batting and it worked great. Love the overall concept of this cutter. Cut a perfect circle every time with a little effort. The hardest part about this cutter was getting it out of the blister pack, and that wasn't too difficult.

But it cuts great! Beautiful edges and they are all the same size and shape. You have to adjust where the ruler lines up if you want exactly a 4-inch circle, for instance. I have 2 8 lb hand held dumbells that I put one side on each side of the template to hold in place.

The product itself is good and it works but the circles are not exact inches. " So, due to user error, my circles came out larger than I wanted.
