To be honest, deep down, I knew it would be. I absolutely adored having no clue what the truth was and being genuinely gobsmacked when I got there! This makes for both a stimulating and hugely engrossing read. This book is a perfect blend of seemingly unsolvable mystery and tense family drama that McAllister does so well, but with the addition of some brilliantly executed moral dilemma too.
