App is kinda cool. Easy to fly! Mostly just for checking what the battery % of the plane and controller are at.

Don't think I will even. Battery lasts 6-8 minutes. Doesn't handle much wind though.

Best to have at least 1 spare battery. The controller is awesome that you get with this.

Make sure you have enough space in plane mode. Haven't tried flying with just my phone yet. The battery is the same as all the other parrot mini drones so maybe by another drone for the spare battery and buy the cheap version without the controller because this controller works for all the flying drones. Going to try some of the tricks tomorrow.
