I started this book and a few chapters in I knew I needed to finish because I need to know! So I decided to take a look at it , I must admit at first I thought - oh no it’s a bit American teenager ish with names like Red etc ( the main character in the book)However I plodded on and wow , I got captivated, I read it in the bath , carried to the breakfast table and continued reading it with the TV off until I had finished it . Good crazy!

This is well written, entertaining and inventive, giving a Lord of the Flies vibe (even referenced in the book) mixed with an Agatha Christie whodunnit. Set over 8 hours and full of terror, suspense and secrets. All friends in some which way or another, brother and sister, boyfriend and girlfriend or just simply friends. The printing is well performed, and the ink won't shade away if you keep track of what you're reading with your finger, or if you use any highlighter on the text.

Reviewing the hardcover item, not the content of the book. This book is about 6 teenagers who are trapped in an RV in the middle of nowhere because of the secret one of them holds. ENDING WAS UNEXPECTED Holly does it again with the amazing plot twists 10/10. It was interesting how a person changes under pressure, was interesting to see how a person loses all humanity.

However, when the sniper reveals himself and asks simply for a secret that one of the friends is keeping, it sets all of them against each other. The bottom line is a thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the pages that Ms Jackson calls home, and plan to visit her other books very soon. I loved the way it tantalised you with blank pages just showing every hour that passed…. There are quiet a few twists and turns and secrets revealed across the book which keeps it really interesting.
