It's a stylish kettle with a mixture of high gloss and matte finish which makes it look more expensive than it actually is and fits in with the look of my other appliances. I was really pleased with it so decided just to replace it with the same model. However, if you fill the kettle up and boil it a few times, it should be gone by the 10th time you use this kettle. This also makes it easy to see how much water you are filling the kettle with, but there are also markers inside if you prefer to use those.

This kettle would also suit those with arthritic hands for the same reason. ) and will have to jettison its replacement due to manufacturing errors which mean our fuses keep tripping out. I purchased this Russell Hobbs kettle to replace my old kettle when it stopped working. The media could not be loaded.

For such a good price I can't fault it. I recommend boiling the kettle in the morning first thing, even if you don’t use it just to get rid of the smell, rinse it with cold water and leave the lid open, it’s a small price to pay for such a cheap and reliable kettle.

It's actually the exact same model of kettle that I had previously which had lasted for 6 years and took some heavy use. The kettle sits on a 360° base making it suitable for both right and let handed use.
