The heads of the cables are firm thick plastic with absolutely no sign of warping and are so robust that I’m sure will last the test time. For "basics" range the cable is very thick and durable as well as gold plated usb ends. I'm honestly baffled by the quality of the cable is the cost if it is so cheap! I replaced an older model with this new cable and I have to say there are no more dropouts on my USB external drive thanks to this cable unable to get the highest amount of data throughput.

The usb cable is extremely long and it is really useful when using in tight spaces. I don't know if it has a lot of power drop off or if it really usb 3.

The cable is thick and seeming protective enough thou I can't tell how well the wires within are. The cable itself is clad in thick rubber which was not as flexible as some models does provide extra protection and robustness. Great cable, extremely well made & very durable, as mad as it sounds my only criticism is that it’s a tad too well made!

As a further benefit of the cable is very unlikely to kink due to its thickness. To be fair It’s bit of an obscure use for this cable so I shouldn’t really grumble. If you’re using this cable purely as a usb extension then you won’t find a better cable for the money. This is an unbiased review.

I would say that given the price there is nothing comparable for the type of quality you have here go ahead and buy one not be disappointed Overall very useful for when you need a USB device at the front of your PC while keeping your setup looking clean. However Amazon basics is synonymous with quality and this is no exception. 0 spec.
